spoke with Ronald Bailey on:
“Distorting Science: Who’s Worse, The Left or the Right?”
Chris Mooney is the Washington correspondent for Seed magazine and a senior correspondent for the American Prospect who focuses on issues at the intersection of science and politics. Mooney’s bestselling book, The Republican War on Science, was dubbed “a landmark in contemporary political reporting” by Salon.com and a “well-researched, closely argued and amply referenced indictment of the right wing’s assault on science and scientists” by Scientific American. Mooney has written for Wired, Seed, Mother Jones, New Scientist, Legal Affairs, Reason, The New Republic, The American Scholar, The Washington Post, Columbia Journalism Review, The Washington Monthly, The Los Angeles Times, and The Boston Globe. His blog, “The Intersection,” won Scientific American’s 2005 Science and Technology web award. Mooney was recently named one of Wired’s ten “sexiest geeks.”
